I will not know for sure until I dyno- but the VEC-2 definately has improved my acceleration times.

I tried the stock programing to make sure everything was working- it was

then tried the two modified programs that ROE sent me - the second program was the real deal. Acceleration was significantly improved - second gear traction has become an issue- third gear lays down rubber and for the final unofficial test my roof down top speed appears to have picked up 5 mph- but i am not sure how scientific that one is!

Rich what other mods do you have?

Very basic- I have the K&N set-up and a hurst shifter plus some minor cosmetic stuff

My dyno runs showed me that I was running rich and this board confirms that is the stock state of tune.

I will be adding a ROE twin screw supercharger in the spring (when the kits are finalized) which will require the VEC-2 for tuning.

As a side note- when I had my vette (before the lingenfelter upgrades) I had the computer reprogrammed by the "Guru" not much difference which goes to show the untapped potential we have in these motors.

Rich (or I will run lean and torch the engine :) )
