Really nice job, Edgar. Thanks for taking time to edit and post.

I really hope to see more videos like that in the future. This is BY FAR the most Vipers I have ever seen at Englishtown on a street night. Thanks to Jeff and Dimitrios for drumming up interest.

We had about 10 Vipers show up but not everyone chose to race. I wish I had seen more Vipers in the staging lanes but I think it's a great start anyway. Let's keep this going.

I rent Atco Raceway several times a year and I'd love to see more Vipers show up at these private sessions. If you're a novice, it's perfect because there's no pressure, no crowds (15 cars only), you can make as many (or few) passes as you'd like, and you're usually among experienced drivers so you can learn quite a bit. If you're an experienced driver, you can dial your car in or race against some pretty quick cars becasue there are always at least one or two that dip into the 9 second territory.

Bottom line, I thought Friday was a cool way to meet other Viper owners and have a good time. :headbang:

BTW paul. reviewed the videos over and over again and i think you are an excellent dragster. the 000 reaction time is amazing. als you had no spin on your street tires. how the hell do you do this?

Thanks, Dimitrios. I've gotten really close to a perfect light a few times but never a triple goose egg.

As far as my launch, it depends on track prep. Yesterday I was launching between 2500 and 2800 rpm, slipping the clutch, and rolling onto the accelerator instead of stomping on it. Believe it or not, 200 more rpm was the difference between hooking up and spinning. Also, I try to stay out of the groove late in the night because, by then, the track prep at the start line is usually destroyed. We hardly had any cars with slicks last night. Street tires will tear up the track much faster.

That's why we need to have an Atco rental!!
