By the way, the question was raised about spectator pricing for those that want to come and watch the activities including the Viper Racing League....great news, there is no charge, you just drive in and sign a waiver, so even if you aren't interested in taking your car on the track, please come out and watch.:headbang:

When you call for a hotel reservation, you have to use "North American Road Racing Association" and NOT NARRA or they won't find it.

It also comes to $206 for a double-occupancy room.

I think Charlie T is coming but I don't know if he frequents the boards. This will be a great spectator event for sure and it is free:headbang:

You guys did a great job on the track. It was a blast to be out there with you all. I never thought I'd say this but even this morning in the wet was a blast.

I hope to see you next year!

Thanks to all that came to Viper Days at Pocono, we had a great time, if you ever the opportunity to attend one of these events as a participant, you will not be disappointed. The NARRA folks are great to work with and the knowledge you gain about your car and its capabilities are well beyond your expectations (especially if you get to do a day in the rain)

The CORY VETZSUK name even made it to the VERSUS televised race...... but Hallet was truly thought-provoking, like some of those vanity plates you just dont get at 1st, 2nd, or 3rd glance:

PORTIA BILLOUGHS was the mystery racer at Round Two. Get It ?!?!?

[I vouched for D. A. BEEMERS for Pocono.....did anyone see that driver there? ]

Thats a GEN ONE! I heard Victor was cranking around at 140 mph......NOT TOO SHABBY with a big red brick! Notice the banking causes the left-side lift?

Congrats to Keith Verges and Ben Keating for their wins on Sat. and Sunday , respectively in the Viper Cup ---- two Texans , so there will be no end to the discussion about how good the drivers are down there, ha.

Way to go guys.

At least the first guy had an excuse, barely. The others just couldn't take it. The 4th instructor (on Sunday) stuck it out for the hole day though.

I think the left side lift depends on where on the straights Carmen took the picture from. My guess is this is before the start/finish line just after the hard turn off the road course and onto the oval. Accelerating hard out of that turn would also cause a left side lift. If it is before the start/finish line, I would be sub 100mph in this picture....I was about at 100 at the start/finish which is where I would shift from 3 to 4 and with some brass would be about 130 at the end of the front straight. Not having the braking of the newer models, I would brake lighter and earlier than others and only be doing about 90 into turn 1....room for improvement.

I'm editing my video from the GoPro now .... hopefully should have it up tomorrow night. The first part might be slow, but it will end with a humorous drinking game :)

Ok, got the video going .... it's a little long, and not as exciting as youtube didn't like the music I had inserted so I had to delete the music

If you watch till the end, you do have a drinking game involved
