One of my favorite Corvette books by Noland Adams shows hundreds of photos of the cars being assembled at the plant in the 50's (there is also one for the early 60's) . The photos are a priceless part of Corvette history.

As Viper moves towards the end of Gen ll, I can only hope that such a group of photos exist to chronicle the Viper story and that someday a book will be available. If lots of owners are like me, 500 shots that show how the cars were built would be about right. As DC moves on with the Genlll, they may trash tons of stuff that 20 years from now we would treasure. Same thing for the many parts suppliers.

I don't know if VCA can get hold of this kind of stuff or not but hope someone will.

Just food for thought!

Jon B.: Got enough research material for your book????

I indeed have photos and a VIDEO of the building of the "First GTS delivered Retail" and enogh trivia (6 boxes) to write a book!

There is a great book, Viper, Pure Performance by Dodge, which was available on the VIPER BOOKSTORE Amazon link on the main page. A "must-have" book for Gen-i owners and Viper history buffs.

I also highly recommend the 76-minute VHS-video "Viper-Legend In Its Own Time" ("The Full story of America's Fastest Car") www.duke-video.com
