Went for a drive this morning to wash the car and as I was getting onto I-80 I drove right into the middle of a ricer group out for a drive!:omg: I tell ya it was nothing but wings, window stickers, coffee can exhausts and cameras! There were about 15 or so that I could see. They were some that would pull up beside me and just floor it, one sounded exactly like my gas **** wacker, others sounded like bees...:crazy2: three of them blocked all lanes in front of me and the others boxed me in on the sides and to he rear! Nothing too harassing, they were just looking at the car and taking photos. I just had to laugh out loud! i exited off the freeway and got several thumbs up and waves from the group! Just wanted to share my Sunday morning drive!...:D

They are better known as Boy Racers and are everywhere. They also probably had 3000 watts of boom boom crap going on inside. Im sure you made their day one way or another.

and since the Viper sounds like a tractor, spectators probably thought it's a farmer's parade passing through :D

You guys should come up here to Vancouver. Rice burners right, left and center!!!!

I didn't think those were even considered by young kids "cool" anymore....I rarely see them anymore....It was back in the day with the 1st fast and furious when it started getting real popular. But here in MA I rarely see those rice boxes anymore (sorry if anyone thinks that a racist term, Im Asian so its okay for me to say it lol) I feel like all those people that used to drive those cars are now driving 10 year old luxury cars now instead. And the funniest thing is seeing these old rice box cars being driven by some older people now (Im guessing they bought them used thinking it was just how they came from the factory)....I really do see this every now and then here on the northshore...sad..

To each their own. It was nice of them to show respect with the thumbs up and taking pics. Not everybody is as fortunate as us to own a viper. Hell, itwas only 4 years ago I was rolling an 04 evo. Granted it was 406 awhp evo. Btw, a light awd car is a BLAST to drive on the twisties. JMO:headbang:

Yeah it sounds like they treated you well and were impressed with your car. Who cares what others drive. I have nothing against ricers.
