Water Pump on a 98 GTS

Is the water pump on a 98 GTS have the plastic impeller or a metallic one? Are they prone to failure?

Metallic. No.

All Viper stock water pumps have plastic impellers. Only a few 01 pumps had a problem.

If you happen to need a stock pump, I have a brand new spare one laying around I need to get rid of. I'll give ya a deal on it...
