Guys I have the 19 purners and now will have the car lowered an inch. My question is I think the spare is a 17 inch(my car is a 98GTS).I have not checked but I think there will be quite a difference between the two. What happens if you get a flat? Tow? Bad enough I think you would have to drive around with a low profile jack because the stock jack will not fit. What are you guys doing??????????????

Dont forget, if you go with a 19" rim, and the only sidewall available is 30 series, like an 18, the car will SIT almost 1" higher. Lowering it will just return it to stock ride height.

Dan you are indeed right again. I am only going one inch lower. I do not want to scrap all over. It just looks like I am driving a SUV right now!!!

if you're worried about flats just run the run-flat tires. You're supose to be able to drive like 50 mile at 50mph on them with no problems.

run flats are horrible (ride wise) on the road compared to same size non run flat though. Fix flat does work for most punctures, blowouts your breakn out the jack.
