I have the same Borla system with no cats. It sounds great and is not too loud for me. I also have a crossover tube on my exhaust.

What does the "crossover tube" do? Help with back pressure or something?

Where did you get the cross over tube from?
Did it line up well with the borla?

Lined up great it was a custom piece I built. It took under an hour. All you have to do is run a crossover pipe between the two main pipes. It should be the same material and dia. It also helps with alignment for me if you have to take the exhaust off again. In thory you should put it as far foreward as possible but mine works fine where the front of the stock rear muffler went. The only reason I put one on is because I have read on here about people having drone with the Borla.
