You shold have a sheet in the ring package if it's after market rings. If not call the manufacturer or I can dig one up. It will have a formula based on the bore size. Gap is based on the heat that they will see.

Tony, Its been mentioned that on SC the ring gap should be less

you might want to try the Total Seal type of ring, if they are available for your pistons. that way you don't have to worry about gap.
