What I\'ve noticed about Mileage on a viper...

Am I the only one that notices this..but the more miles I put on my Viper...the faster the miles seem to build up on it. I guess the way I look at this, is that it's like the older you get, the years seem to fly by faster. Well, Same with my Viper..the more miles I put on it, the faster they seem to stack on!! Yikes!

I know this was a useless post...but I was looking at my od and saw it turned 40K today!

Hey Adam,
At least that 40 number was not the age YOU were "turning"

Not that you and I have to worry about that yet, I hear it's a rough one to swallow

Hey, watch the "40" comments! It's as bad as they say. I cruised Clearwater Beach FL a few weeks ago and some spring breakers were gawking at my Viper. I felt good until one of them yelled out for me to get some Rogain. I just kept telling myself "That's ok, I've got two Vipers, I've got two Vipers, I've got two Vipers." It helped.

That fourth decade transition isn't hard at all for men, at least not me. My boobs didn't sag, and I don't care if there is a little grey in my beard.

I had a much harder time with the Nasdaq crash.

Doug, were any gerbils involved in the thoughts on sex?

Hey Tom,
Is that what I have to look forward to when I turn 40 in a couple of years.....geezz????? There is always the availability of "preventative maintenance"

. To tell you the truth, I'm not one bit concerned about turning 40. I'm very happy and grateful with each and every Birthday that passes, just glad to be healthy, happy and alive!!! Have a wonderful day! Smile!

ab,

Agreed, Doug is one strange cookie. Glad he doesn't cut corners in his aftermarket business as he does in his preference to the opposite sex. Heck , I've heard anything with hair and **** is a prime candidate for him..

Adam,

Look on the bright side of these things. I broke in my new engine in 2 weeks. A lot of Viper owners wouldn't do this in 6 months. They wouldn't put wheels on them if they weren't meant to be driven.

As far as Doug goes, I've learned more than I really want to know.

Re: What I\'ve noticed about Mileage on a viper...

I like to hear people who drive their Vipers. I wish I had a GenII engine, though...I hear they are pretty much worry free..no head gasket issue..no oring issue...and so on...But I will see how far I can drive the 94 before any major repairs...hope that's never..

Doug! you live!! Hehe! Doug has a great sense of humor. Man Gerald..I wish I got to see your 1994 before you sold it. When you plan on doing Douggy's SuperCharger on yours? I'm hoping by Next year ( being realistic..to have doug do mine.) I think I'm better off waiting for a Gen II car. I wonder if doug does trades for young plump gerbils instead of cash?
