What size is factory header primary tubes?

The 1998 and newer tubular exhaust manifolds have 1.5" primaries.

I just measured a '95 cast iron manifold (round exhaust ports) and a '97 cast iron manifold (D shaped exhaust ports). Both are 1.5"+/- inside diameter. The primary tube lengths on the stock manifolds vary drastically and there is a hard 90 degree turn at the bottom of the collector.
