It looks like my headlights have a clear factory film or something coming off. I thought at first it was some kind of glue or something from clear covers or something that may have been on it, but its not. What can I do to make it look like new besides buy new lights? Thanks

Is it possible they have the aftermarket protective film on them?

Post a picture of the headlight. How does the headlight look under the area where the film has peeled?

That is what it looks like. So I take it that there is nothing to fix it for a long time?

Sorry Jason, just about anything you do will wear off even more and cause the headlight to get a haise over it. Seen it many times on other chrysler cars.

Novus plastic polish will keep them from hazing. Anything else and it will begin to cloud over time. I use them on my supra headlights, which are famous for yellowing over time.

If it's flaking inside, you will have to disasemble the headlight. Heat is involved to break the adhesive for the 2 parts... kinda tricky.

MadMaxx! I just put on accident repaired (but clear lens) headlights because I didn't think the clear plastic separated from the black housing! It's adhesive that can be softened with heat? Please say more...
