I'm a new owner & not really used to the car yet, but I seem to frequently get alot of wheel hop going into second also.

Other performance cars I've owned did not do this...

Any more input on this ???

Some wheel hop can be tuned out with tire pressure and rear shock settings. The tire is a spring, too, so a little higher or lower will change the wheel hop characteristics. The shocks are set full soft, so have to go stiffer. Unless you stiffen the fronts also, I wouldn't recommend more than half stiff in the rear, as it will make the car (more) prone to corner entry oversteer.
