I loaned my daily driver to a visiting family member for the day yesterday and was "forced" to drive the Viper to work (what a shame).
I left before dawn, but it was just about light when I arrived at the office - light enough that I forgot to turn off the headlights.
Several hours later it's time to go to an appointment and I go to start the car and get clicking. Dern! Notice that the headlights are on, turn them off - but still clicking.
I had another car available at the office so I took it to the meeting. Right before lunch I thought I'd give it a try and it started!
I guess the point of the post is if you find yourself with a drained battery due to a fast drain (like headlights being left on) give it some recovery time and you might luck out.
