which oil should be uses on track?

The original Mobile 1 0W40

or Castrol TWS 10W60 which we use in the BMW racing cars?

MTGTS told me: 15w-50 oil but I do not know which brand


Is there also a preferred oil for the gearbox?

Most guys use Mobil-1 15w50 instead of the 0w40. For the trans, I think everyone uses the OEM fluid, Castrol Syntorq.

15w50 for track and even suggested in the ACR owners manual. Any synthetic but most use Mobil 1.

If you do not have an aftermarket swing pickup oil pan, then I would run an oil that will give you some extra protection. Race oils like Motul 20-50w have a high Molybendium content that can resist bearing scuffing from a momentary loss of oil pressure.

I already have a modified oil pan with baffles, otherwise I would buy the one with swing pickup.

Mobile1 15W50 is offered for motor bikes only in Germany.

Does anybody know it is the same, or could we also use Castrol TWS 10W60 ?

Sorry for so many questions, but it is the first SRT-10 on track here and I do not want to kill it.

get some motul 15w 50 for cars. thats what i use- also motul for rear gear and transmission
