widest tire size??

what is the widest upgrade tire size possible on a stock 18" front rim? 285?

i know i know search...im lazy so humor me

I have heard of a Gen I Viper with 305's on the front but I think the "mud slinging" effect was a real problem.

I currently have 335 fronts. I say "currently" because I'm a tracker on a budget and use whatever I can get my hands on. I would prefer a slightly smaller tire like 315.

On a "stock" front rim I wouldn't go larger then a 295.

The best street tire setup for the track is 335's all around with a 13" rear rim and a 12" front rim.
