Will this fit in an 08 coupe?

It is single DIN where the stock setup is 1.5. Could put a faceplete around it, but would probably look cheesy.
You can install an RB1 in there if you don't have one already, that is what I just did in mine and that gives you satellite and GPS.

yeah--just would rather get a much better quality unit than the rb1 for less money--anyone know of any 1.5 din aftermarket stereos or a good kit that would allow this stereo and maybe a compartment underneath it?

You can fit any din size you want. Every stereo shop should have 2 or 3 different mounting kits. Good luck.
