Ron Wasserman, John Dearing, Craig Oka, Joe B, Gordon, Lance Watkins, and I, have been going out to Willow with Speed Ventures.
For one day, its about $120 if you're a member, and register early. If not, its like $160, with transponder. You get a lot of track time. If you stay all day, you end up with 5 1/2 hour sessions, which feels like a lot. I'm done, after only three!
In my first session today, Paul Mumford was my instructor for about 10 laps. With him showing me the way, we did a 1:38.1, a new best for me, on my second visit to the track. I'm still shaking from the incredible feeling of tearing around that track! Willow Springs tests your metal!
EDIT- I just got off Open Track's web site. I didn't know they give you LUNCH! Such a deal!
