I thought it would be refreshing to hear a story of a tuner who does only the best for his customers! Larry Macedo is the most trustworthy, honest individual it has been my pleasure to meet. About a year ago, I had to make a decision as to go with Scott at Elite or Larry Macedo at M2. Over the course of the last couple of months, it has become painfully clear that I made the RIGHT choice and have benefited from it in spades! Larry is not only my tuner but I consider him one of my very good friends. The hospitality the he and Wendy showed me while at his shop were second to none. Scotty and Doug (M2 techs) were very helpful in explaining everything that was going on. I tried my best to stay out of their way(very important to let the experts to work unhampered :2tu: ), and watched them perform their magic on my car. :headbang: :headbang:

Larry was taking care of other issues including personally taking car Shelby3's beautiful B/W car! :headbang: By the way Shelby, car is looking way sweeeeet! Going to make some sick power :headbang: . All of this was taking care of dispite the rantings of a new member to our fold "yellowstain". Yellowstain was a pain in the neck, but it was my job to keep him from butting into the work that needed to be done, so I took it upon myself to keep him busy and teach him the in's and out's of this great car of ours :D :D :D Hopefully he will one day learn how to drive it to his FULL (of it) potential :D

One that note, I would like to end this post with an endorsement from me to the highest degree to Larry and the crew at M2, you guys are and will always be the greatest in my book :2tu: . You showed me what real integrity, professionalism and dedication looks like! :2tu: :2tu: :usa:

96, please stop praising Larry. I can't even get my car in there due to all the business he has now, imagine after this post.

Folks, Larry is now closed and will not be taking any more new business until he tends to my car and her upgrades. ;) Sorry for the inconvenience, but Sir Macedo has now become the "Big Fish" and will only see new customers by appointment only. And to make those appointments, you can call me and I will be sure to pass them on to Larry, that is when he starts taking new business in. :2tu:

Yes, Mr. Macedo, your first Roe SC GTS is now feeling the neglect. :( From treating her like a new proud poppa, she has gone to the red headed stepchild (and she is not even red - blue and white, sir.)Her appointment today was pushed to Sept. 13???????????? . Probably because Cudaman wants more upgrades so he can run low 9s :D , and Fuelman wants a more elaborate nitrous setup  and the list goes on. Enough is enough, folks.

So until further notice, please stop calling Larry as he cannot tend to the cars he already has with all you guys wanting him to do your cars. Give the guy a break folks. :D
I will be sure to inform you all when Larry will be open for new business. :2tu: Thanks for understanding. You guys are the best. :headbang:

Ward, that's funny you mentioned beer.....just yesterday when "Big Fish" called me to boot me out of his appointment log to Sept. 13, he brought up beer..maybe I am not providing him enough beer. The secret to getting him to make house calls is to call him and tell him you have cold "Kingfisher". :2tu:

I think I might just buy a house in his neighborhood, so when he returns from the shop, I will just bring the car over daily and visit like good neigbors do. I will tell him that I came over to shoot the breeze, and then throw in that famous "BTW Larry, can you take a look at the Viper while I am here" line. At least then, the poor neglected snake, his first baby, will get some attention. :D

How is your car running? Do you have the 8 or 10 pulley?
Big Fish wants to put in a 10 now. :headbang:

Ok, so it's beer that moves one's car up the priority list at Macedo's. Larry, there is a case in it if you can get my car out of your shop before the next hurricane arrives later this week. Also, apparently Wendy is going to put the miles on my car before tuning. Having never met Wendy, can anyone tell me if she can see over the dash? I heard she ain't that tall. :usa:

Shelby, Wendy will take good care of your car. I am sure Sir Macedo will put a few phone books on your seats so Wendy will be able to drive it......Just kidding, Wendy. :2tu:

Hmmmmm, since Wendy is the boss, maybe calling Wendy instead of Big Fish might be the answer to have the car on the priority list. :headbang:

The M2 crew is the best, no excuses from them, just fantastic work, attention to detail, and fun people. Worth the trip from Ohio anytime. Larry and Wendy do end up being your friends, what more can we ask for.

 Doesn't this Tuner praising sound real familiar? Wasn't it only earlier this year people were saying the same thing about Elite? I worry about how much we expect the, very few ,good tuners to do. We chased away Apex Motorsports here in San Jose, over one guys engine. Now I have a small shop working on my car without a dyno, and I don't want to tell you how great a guy he is, because he might be next( Ted May , Valaya Racing) ;-). If you chase him away, then I have to ship my car down to DC Perfomance. It is real hard for guys like Larry Macedo to work extra ******* complicted setups, only to have some ones car blow up or burn up. Stuff does happen, and these small tuners can get overwelmed. They are not sponsored by some car company, they are just enthusiatic individuals, that more likely, did not know how hectic it is to run a business, once it gets real busy. There are hundreds of "Vette" shops around, but only a handful of "Viper" shops. Let's give all of them more praise and try and help them stay in business. I know that there is a definite trend happening with Elite, but he has hit some hard bumps in the road of life lately, and used to be a great guy. He might just need help to get through this whole mess, and maybe he will be that great guy again. Maybe not? But it is way too easy to sit back and complain here, than doing all of the hard work necessary to actually create a great "Tuner" business. Let's give them some slack and keep them around for all of us. I can just see it now, Sean Roe is next. Wait until one of his cars blows up?

Got Venom... there's truth to what you said for sure. Honestly in maybe a year or so I think Paolo will be in line there somewhere. This guy knows his stuff back to front and will ask you more questions about your own car then you knew could be asked. And thats to make sure your getting exactly what you want. With his new system a customer of his wanted 600 RW and ended up getting 648 RWHP and 700+ RWTQ on low boost and mild timing. And compared to Ferrari or Lambo where there's hardly any tuners for those, were Blessed for sure.

And support us troops, because a Viper is only as fun as the freedom you have to drive it with :D :usa:

The problem comes when the tuner won't stand behind his work. That was the problem with Elite. Everybody has problems, it's how you deal with them that determines your reputation.

Somebody is on the payroll....

Yeah, Paolo has 10 or 12 neighborhood kids that follow him around like the Pied Piper. None of them even have cars to speak of, and most of them can't even drink legally yet. He pays them with baseball cards and lollipops.
