Wrapping CAT Converters

I have a 2004 SRT convertible. I have bought and wrapped my mufflers and it seems to work great. Has anyone wrapped their catalytic converters too? I'm still getting a lot of heat from there.

I would think you could with something like a turbo blanket, though I guess maybe that still wouldn't be rated for the temps those can see. That would be my primary concern. I've heard they can get up to 1500 degrees, though I'm not sure if that's really the shell temperature or not. If I had to guess I'd say the surface temp isn't quite that high, but still going to be higher than mufflers.
