    Time has come

We bought a 2003 Maserati Spyder. Hope I don't smell the wolves coming... BUT, the GEN III Vipers weren't for me... I must keep with a no cup holder car. :smirk: It's getting tougher, leaving only a 355, Maserati Spyder, and TVR in contention considering 'affordable' high performance with...

    Time has come

Dearest Chickenwarrior, Yes, the stereo equipment was mounted in my Viper Roadster. No, No modifications were necessary at all. To be completely honest, there was a difference in stereo performance, but perhaps not worth what I paid to get it. Bass was still insignificant. Great...

For a while at least. Not a F-car, though, an M-car. I'm driving this one.

    Time has come

I just wanted to thank all of you for all the help, advise, and great reading you have given me over the last few years. Though it is still the most interesting car I've ever owned, I decided to sell my Viper and move onto another experience with automobiles. I have the last few items on...

Question for those that have gone 19" AND lowered w/eibachs

Re: Question for those that have gone 19\" AND lowered w/eibachs Anthony, Noticeable effect on speedometer reading? With 1" taller tire I was wondering if it is measurably off.

How to clean under the hood?

I use tide and water. Spray it down with a garden sprayer, let it soak for a few minutes, wash it off with a cotton cloth, then rinse it. I use a leaf blower to remove the excess water from the intake galley. As a final step, I use Zaino tire treatment on all the underhood parts, even the intake...

How can i keep the A/C compressor on all the time. Its hot in Vegas

Nope, compressor shuts down. Industry standard for most piston pumps, wobble plates, and even scroll compressors.

How can i keep the A/C compressor on all the time. Its hot in Vegas

Compressor can cut out for 3 reasons: freezing evap, high head pressure, Wide Open Throttle. If it's the latter you want to address, forcing the compressor on will cause it to fail prematurly. The pressure spike can get high enough to destroy the compressor and/or blow the PRV (pressure relief...

    Optima Battery

I have the 78/34 in my 1998 RT. The posts are close to the frame, but not touching (1/4+" gap or so). I left the top terminal plastic cap on the battery for protection. However, the same battery 78/34 did not fit in my friends 1999 RT (well it fit but the top posts were too close, almost...

Topic, To Viper Or Not to Viper?

Dump the Focus before it dumps you. I'm on 18,000 miles and averaging a problem once every 1000 miles. Different stuff, unfortunately. The Focus is crap, plain and simple. Eevn leaves rust marks on my driveway after a rain at all 4 corners. Can see the tire tread outline in the rust spot, on my...

Roe SuperCharger - Polished and Painted

I am breathless. Perfect balance. Way cool and not too much(ricey). Very classy. I wouldn't change a thing. Gives me a new respect for yellow. Awesome... completely awesome.

SRT-10 Gawk Factor (or lack thereof)

Janni makes an interesting comment about ownership in Raleigh. I don't particularily care for an SRT, but my wife has been begging me to consider getting one for her (not a bad position to be in, if I do say so myself). She loves the car, it's more docile look, it's more elegant interior, the...

Finally my interior & exterior mod pics!

Interior looks great, Wheels look great, I'd drop the bra, though. Really doesn't match or look good. I'm kind of a hypocrite as I use one on the track when other people are running racing tires. I won't even drive to the track with it on. I don't like the way they look. Interior does look great.

Radio experts....question on stock radio in another vehicle....

Not likely, unless the other car had an external amp, and wiring would have to be run seperate or you'll need a custom harness. Your best bet would be to get a cheap head unit for the other car with a built in amp. Can be had for under $100.
