My local dyno shop will try to squeeze me in for a baseline dyno run later this week. Just so I have ballpark figure, what have other 2008s hit using a Mustang (not a Dynojet) dynanometer? I remember that Mark Jorgensen did some runs on a Mustang but I can't seem to find the post.
Also, is there anything I need to check before m run? I have received the following checklist but was wondering if folks had any additional pointers or comments. (FYI, my car is currently around 1,500 miles):
Check ambient temp and humidity;
Car is stock with the exception of Sidewinder wheels and Stoptech rotors;
Must have a minimum of a full 7 sec pull
Must be in 4th gear or 1:1 gear ratio for Viper dyno pull;
Will set air pressures in car to stock 29 psi cold for dyno run;
Will ask what the dyno correction factor percentage is for the this particular Mustang dyno.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for your help.
