Well my 94 is just about sold. Its doing well with only 2 days left on ebay. I found a 2008 very orange vert with dual black stripes with 745 miles on it. The owner of the dealership drove it and now its for sale. It has nav, orange and black interior and all the goodies. And also 5 spoke wheels. Is this car worth the $69,900 they are asking for? If not. What should a cash offer be? Thanks Doc

Its a used Viper. Look at wholesale auction sales in the past 30 days to get an idea what it would auction for, and offer a couple thousand more. Get a PPI from a good tech before you close the deal.

That is a very reasonable price even with the miles. While you may find that "ridiculous" deal here and there, 69,900 is a great price. I have been looking extensively at the 08's locally and online and that's about as low as it will go for now. There is of course that occasional stupid give away deal but you shouldn't wait on that. $69,900 is a good price especially for that desirable color.

dont delay---just do it-everyday you wait could be a day you are enjoying your viper!--I put 1004 miles on mine in the last month since it came in. And that is with out any trips--just local driving!

I think 69K is a very reasonable price. Get a PPI done from someone else, NOT from the dealership you are purchasing from.

Ive been watching cars that Palmer has listed that are new and I have never found anything under 83k. Buhler and woodhouse are the same. How would a dealer magically sell one for 65k to me?

The car was owned by 1BadGTS. PM him and he will give you all the details and who to talk to at Buhler. I am not very familar with the dealership. I just know that their Venom Red Convertible was sold for $57K. Also check my PM to you regarding the other car.

That was that venom red car. That color, not the orange, is going for dirt. That car he had forever and almost had to give it away. Fact remains $69,900 is a good price for the orange.

All things considered this is an orange car that they only made 65 of. And who knows how many came with stripes like this one. As opposed to 213 of the venom red. I know I wont get it for 57k. LOL

This past Dec. Buhler wouldn't budge with there prices. Don't expect too much. 69 is a real good price. 745 miles is nothing.

Most of us who ordered our Vipers and paid sticker or close to sticker are tired of hearing these low numbers being thrown around without proof. If there is a 08 Viper out there for 69k with less than 1k miles on it, why would you even think twice right a check.

That car was bought used by the owner, from a person who won the car on the price is right. Venom red also always pulls low numbers.

There is no price authority, everything is individual.

Thats why I started this thread so that I could ask first. Like I said my 94 should be gone this week. Then its 2008 time!

I'd stay away from Buhler. They keep sending me spam even though I've called and emailed them multiple times that I already bought a Viper from someone else. They were relatively "arrogant" with the pricing as well. And they didn't return my phone calls when I was looking for a Viper! I know some of you have had good experiences with them, but this is my experience. I'm still getting spam from them. Someone tell them that harassment is not a good way to get customers.

An automated e-mail is hardly harassment. I'm sure they don't intend to e-mail someone who is disinterested.

It is when it is constant, I've unsubscribed, emailed them, and called them personally and told them to stop flooding my inbox. Would you like it if I kept calling you over and over even after you told me to stop? Same concept.

Block them as a sender. A phone call and an e-mail are two different things. One to one versus broadcast communication.

Nothing personal but you join the since last month with all of five posts and you are telling people to stay away from a site sponsor and respected dealer.

Welcome to the VCA.
