I was also impressed that they admitted it is more of a pain than anything else. I just installed a skip-shift eliminator that I found on eBay for $13 plus $2 shipping. What a difference it makes in the joy of driving the car now. No more concern about the "nanny" interrupting your shift at an inopportune moment.
