After 20 years of wanting one. Hundreds and hundreds of hours playing all the Gran Turismo games, standing next to dozens while people take my picture next to someone else's Viper... I am now an owner.

First and foremost thanks to my wife who has supported me and gave me her precious little Mazda 3 as a downpayment and Bill Pemberton at WoodHouse Dodge for his excellent care and commitment to finding me a great Viper.

Details:
2013 Viper GTS
Laguna package interior in Sephia
4600 miles

Like the color quite a bit. The plywood on the walls in the garage...is that some kind of structural integrity "hurricane" building code thing?

Almost done with my shop. Not hurricane or anything. Didn't want to work with drywall. Wanted the walls to be strong. I'm not the most un-clumsy person when working in my shop and I didn't want to deal with holes and stuff from drywall. Also can mount whatever I want to on the walls. 1/2" thick boards. Going to caulk and paint soon too. All bright white. Shop's gonna look amazing.

I washed it for the first time this morning before work.... What an experience... it felt sort of ****** in some weird way. Those curves are ****!
I went to a local "ricer" car show last night. Had a crowd of about 40 around the car at all times.
On my way home I was waiting at a light at midnight and a Silver 05 convertible Viper pulls next to me. We have a chat, we are actually neighbors! At green we go! The Gen V is NOTICABLY faster. Like damn, its faster than a Gen III. When I drove a Gen III years ago it was the fastest thing I had ever driven. This Gen V is so much more refined.

LOVE this car. My face hurts so much from smiling.

Seemed like a genuine question/concern to me? It is highly unusual to use that think of plywood on the walls, so his question is valid in my opinion. I'm going to paint and caulk when I have the time. All bright white.

What an incredible fall into obscurity this once proud car forum has suffered with its handful of new posts a day and guys like Free2Blow one of the most prolific posters. Sad. Years ago he would have been driven out and shunned like the way he has been on every other car forum he infected.

Omg. guys... please keep your childish bull**** outta my thread. This is a special time for me, don't ruin it with your fat egos and petty feelings towards each other.

It's all good man.

What I think happens to a lot of people, on a lot of forums- is that we get complacent even lethargic to what we're passionate about. You jump into a hot tub and have a tendency to keep turning up the heat just to feel a difference. That can cause some to become bitter and unenthused about something that really is great. Right now, I just jumped in... It's HOT and all I want is more. I been on car forums for nearly 15 years and I have always believed in one phrase "Be quick to compliment, and slow to criticize". That applies here as well.

I'm sure the exchange you have with other members is friendly in nature anyway. Its all good!

Free is a good guy. 99.99% of the time he just makes me laugh. I'll be honest, I laughed at the plywood poke as the house I'm trying to buy has a shop with plywood on the walls

Smile free, you'll never bring a smile to everyone's face

Pete, when do I get my ride?

Whatever floats your preverbal boat Jeff!

You should move to FL instead of Idaho.

I have to say that color is stunning! one of the few colors that I would never place stripes on. And I like the interior also. For me I had to go with a all red interior since my car a 14 GTS white with limo tint and carbon fiber stripes and all carbon packages.
