    Thanks, it's a 67 BB A/C. I'm working on getting it ready for NCRS Not sure about extra cooling but I just think it's a great looking hood, glad I got in on it in time.

    Just heard back from a rep at SRT. He says that the dealer no longer has a qualified Gen 5 tech and is apparently not in any hurry to have one trained of find another one. He went on to say that they are still able to work on older Vipers.

    The dealer is Palm Dodge in Punta Gorda, Florida. I'm pretty capable of maintaining my cars, I have a 2 post and 4 post lifts in my shop and about most every tool imaginable, lol, or so it seems. But I think it is crappy that the dealer that I bought my car from refuses to do any service on it...

    To the best of my knowledge it is true and this dealer did stroke the $25,000 check and had the techs trained. I doubt any owner has been offered a loaner, maybe a Dart...but they say you have to "keep your hands off my Dart" :rolaugh:

    Stopped by the dealer that I got my GTS through and was told by the service manager that they were out of the Viper business and no longer had to service Gen 5s. Said he would work on older Vipers on a "case by case" basis. It is at least and hours drive to the next closest dealer but he said...

    Saw a blue one with silver stripes and I thought it was very good looking.

    The 15k cert is a slap in the face to all of us that supported SRT by buying a Gen5. I love mine but it's my last for the treatment we get.
