I have this same problem on my Gen1. When I try to start the car it runs about 2 seconds and then it shuts off and the "alarm set" flashes. The remote doesn't seem to do anything anymore even though I just changed the batteries.
Can someone pm me the cure?
Thanks
I had to replace the mystery switch with another one. Couldn't work out how all the wirings are supposed to work on the original switch. So the mystery of the original switch still remains.
Another option for the right side of the plate could be a finnish green party "Vihreät - De Gröna"...
The European Chrysler Viper's had side markers and a rear fog light as standard.
My car is an US model so I had to install them by myself. I think my side markers are from euro gen2 and the rear fog light isn't a Dodge part. I think it's meant to be used on a trailer or something.

Just bought a set of 19" CCW SP16a wheels with 355/25r19 and 285/30r19 Pirelli PZero Rosso tires for my gen1.
What is the correct pressure for these tires?
The manual says 35 psi for the original 17" tires.
Here's the pics:
I'm on a side of a road and my car won't start. When I turn the key nothing happens (just the fan turns off). The starter motor won't even try to turn. It's just like when I don't fully depress the clutch but it is fully depressed. What could be the problem?
Is this the new better cap?
Found it on my Gen 1. Maybe the previous owner upgraded it?
I have a leaking facia tank so I guess that's the main reason for my coolant loss
Edit: Actually it's the older type cap. I'll have to consider of changing it.
Does anyone know what paint manufacturer to use for an emerald green Viper? I tried PPG's MQG paint but the tone was all wrong. Maybe some paint manufacturer has the tone more correct?
Thanks, they are definitely an option but I would have to modify them a bit. European plates are wider and lower and the screws are at the edges. So I would have to cut the top of the holder and make a wider part on it to attach the screws.
