As I always suggest- get a very complete inspection done by a Viper mechanic prior to even talking money. Worth every Penny.
If it checks out and you can get it for what you feel is a great bargain then jump on it.
I just bought a 09 ACR myself and love it!
My '96 twin turbo is also for sale through BJ Motors and has all the safety, power train, engine, etc mods you can think of. Safety was #1 for me because Yvette always rides with me. However our club like the hill country drives and road courses and this car was just not a huge fan of that. I...
Use a 7002 on my red and yellow top Optima batteries, my dual battery cummins with odyssey batteries. Also use on my normal interstate batteries.
Never failed me. Although my battery tender jr never failed me either for half the cost.
May want to talk to another shop. KW doe snot make a clubsport suspension for your car that I am aware of. I did buy a KW V2 kit from JonB at Partsrack and have been happy ever since I installed them. Amount of adjustment is awesome, had a local Viper speed shop corner balance the car...
Unlock the PCM to let aftermarket offer parts.
GT3R parts are available- offer the GT3R body parts as a ACR option with KWv3 or better suspension, giant carbon brakes with bigger calipers and pads, bring back MICHELIN Sport Cup 2 tires. And BOOM you have a Viper I would trade all 3 of mine in for.
Dream GenV would be a mix of the loaded GTS and the GT3R body kit with fog lights, wide nose and big wing but custom paint from Prefix in either the billit silver with GTS blue stripes or the GenIV ACR SSG special edition paint scheme. Be a one of one. GT3R parts have to be for sale if the cars...
While I agree that I would of hoped the aftermarket would be all over the Viper you also have to understand their standpoint. They can spend precious R&D money and sell to a few hundred Gen V owners or spend the same amount of R&D money and collaborate with others even to sell to 10s of...
Only thing to put on windshield which I I have on all my cars and work trucks is Air Blue 80. It is an almost clear ceramic film to keep heat out of the car and it also reduces glare like polarized sunglasses do. I run Pinnacle ceramic film in legal shades (30 front windows, 15 all others with...
Thank you everyone we are glad everyone enjoyed it! The rain put a snag in the activities for Friday but Ray and Leslie pulled through offering their house for a mid afternoon party which was above and beyond cool! The rain did make for awesome race weather on Saturday, very thankful for that...
We are looking at possible alternates for Friday.
We do not have parade laps out of a mix up with COTA. SRT demanded parade laps as part of the package and was told months ago no one was able to have them. The itinerary was a surprise to all. COTA screwed up plain and simple and has provided...
