Can anyone tell me where to get new shocks for the 2002 ACR as my Dynamic shocks are leaking. Is it better to get them rebuilt. But I hate the ride quality of the stock ACR as they have always made the car too bouncy. Can anyone help.
Can somebody give me some guidance on what to do. I have a 2003 ACR. The stock Dynamics shocks or struts are now leaking. Should I scrap them for something else or should I rebuild them. I was told that you cant these shocks from the dealer anymore.
Is there someone out there that can tell me if their are some aftermarket parts of this kind or should I just modify it myself. Anyone know How much power this mod will make in terms of HP
Thanks
actually, your response was the stupid one. cant you just say that it will show an increase in power but only while in motion. What is this crap of Dynamic mod. Say it like it is and stop trying to be a smart ass about it.
Thanks for the response. So you are saying that I wont see any improvement in performance by cutting it out so that there is no restriction and will act as Ram air. I would think it would show a big increase in power seeing that there is no obstruction of the incoming air. Anyone else have any...
I will get a service manual. But in case I mis-interpret it can you tell me about whether piston#1 needs to be at top dead center or does that not matter.
I noticed while cleaning my 02 ACR air filter that the plastic intake where the filter goes has a very awkward dent that does not allow direct contact with any of the in-coming air. If this was cut out or if a new air filter piece was installed for more ram air like in the old days would this...
I took the advise and sprayed on a bit of wd-40 or something similar. It worked great. As it heated up it did get a bit rougher, but it has not shut down. It is working. I think it is about 90% back to normal. I think I will need to install a new IAC to get it to work like new unless someone...
Sorry for asking a stupid question but what do you mean by low step and high step. Does piston #1 have to be at top dead center or something like that before you install the sensor. Again sorry if it sounds stupid but this is different than what i was used to in a grand national a few years ago
Thanks, I will try a bit of WD40 as maybe the piston in the sensor is jammed. But I did spry a lot of cleaner which also has a bit of a lubricant. If that does not work, are their any viper owners in the Toronto region that will allow me to swap one just to try it out as the guys here have...
The ones I worked on were on a grandnational V6 Turbo. The hall effect only activated as the cam turned it connected by gear. Can anyone explain how this works and detailed installation instructions as I will need to do some work over the winter. Much appreciated
