That looks nothing short of a monster with all that massive tubing! I would love to see more pics of this beast, it's gonna be a killer for sure.

the car should run very good. i first started the build with just a front mount setup, but figured i should complete the build eliminating all the weak points in the car, to be able to make as much power as i needed without having to do more modifications later on. also have a car that will be very reliable.

this car was built to be multi dimensional. being able to drag race, road race, land speed events and rip up the streets.

Is the big jug in front of the engine an air-to-water intercooler? Interesting how the blow-off valves are mounted on the IC.

The big jug is from my grandfathers moonshine still ;) j/k

Yes it is an air/water intercooler that's rated for 1500hp.

The 2 smaller barrel air/water intercoolers are rated for 750hp each.

There's a resevoir in the trunk to add ice when running at the 1/4 mile or any landspeed events. When not adding ice and running on the street the system will dissapate the heat the same as an air/air. The heat exchanger that's part of the air/water intercooler system isn't in the picture.

JGK95 asked about how Trent's Stryker II compares in power and roll cage design to our Shop Patriot Missile GTS:

Trents Viper is basically an all improved version of the Patriot Missile painted over yellow with a removable top

The rollcage was built to pass NHRA tech and meet Landspeed sanctioning rules. Since the Patriot Missile is a GTS and the Stryker II is an RT/10 the cage configurations are quite different. A major concern was getting the required angles for the rear bars going down to the rear frame and suspension points with out losing the rear window.

We built a full cage in our road race rt/10 many years ago. It was going to be used for road racing only so we eliminated the rear window and actually went through the rear body.

Our goal was to keep the Stryker II RT/10 streetable and still able to pass tech and get certified. The cage has swing out door bars and once the interior is completed I'll show the whole cage finished.

Wow, all that and you STILL managed to run a diagonal bar in the halo RIGHT OVER THE DRIVERS HEAD so he can smack his helmet on it, and make it nearly impossible for taller drivers. Well done

Oh and so as not to cobble up another thread:

Your opinion shows that you like low quality or your still upset that you put together a clusterfukk

BWAHAHAHAHAH. Here is a list of what I don't like:

15ft of cheap ass aluminum cold side piping with from what I can see has no less than TWELVE 90 degree bends, As well as the "Y" that has no regard for flow diversion between the two banks.

tubes that don't properly line up with the STOCK throttle bodies on a $100k+ build

using the absolute worst intercooler cores money can buy, then mounting them with hose clamps straight out of the Home Depot plumbing section. Not to mention welds that look like failed tests from heli-arc 101.

And a radiator that is positioned in a way that it's nearly impossible to duct the airflow out of the car, which will ABSOLUTELY have massive cooling issues in any kind of heat.

AGAIN running both down pipes as close to the intake tubing as possible, not to mention running ONLY 3" down pipes.

***********? good god, if I had ANYTHING to do with that build I would be crawling into a hole and waiting for the laughter and embarrassment to subside to a dull roar. Cut everything off that car that has anything to do with turbos, start over and try to make something that doesn't look (and i'm sure function) like a 6th grade Rube Goldberg science project.

See you in Unlimited come Sept :buttkick: Hope your car is up to the 90 mile rally, and you're not making that trip just to get smoked in the standing mile.

mr nutswinger. the diagnal bar comes nowhere near my head with the custom mounts for my race seat. :bonker:

these pics were taken months ago as a mock up. everything that needs to be has been addressed for final assembly.

are you saying that you are going to be doing the punting??? if not shut that pie hole and release the sack you are hanging from. also remove my foot that is between your legs.

i could have had any tuner do a custom one off tt set-up for me. i know i made the right choice in SVS.

Actually that would be Trent's money, but whos counting. I'd love to show you the Viper stuff i've been working on, but have an agreement with a tuner that we won't share pics till it's completed. Come out to Silver State in Sept and you can look it over yourself. You will see things on a viper people are only dreaming of right now.

And it's only easy, because, well damn, just look at it. If you had any idea how many people were keeled over laughing, god it's epic.

No nutswinging here, have I even named who I'll be there with? Pretty hard to nut swing w/o even droping a name isn't it?

Yes i'll be in the car that makes you borderline suicidial after spending $200k to be so far off the pace people say "SVS WHO?" , see you there :2tu:

PS- Everyone is breaking your balls about the diagonal halo brace, and unless you're 5'8" that thing will be a *****. "race seat" I thought this was a street car? :bonker: ahh just adding to the compendium of b/s spewing from the Sheisty Viper Strokes.

PPS- I'm going to bring you guys a 6th grade english book as your 2nd place prize. That way you can study up on what PS actually means, and stop that PS,2 crap that makes you look like an illiterate ****.

rogue, do you have first hand knowledge of svs' business etiquette or spewing second hand [******]?

a sparco seat was installed for support since the stock seats have too much play in them. does that exclude my car for street duties then? i can always put the stock non supportive seats in at anytime to get it to your "street car" status.

i appreciate your demeanor on your opinions of my setup.

Hey sorry, what did you expect, that everyone was going to come on here and stroke you off just cause you throw some pictures up?

Hate to break it to ya, but those of us who know what we are looking at aren't impressed. And given what you're paying for that thing (Hope it's not by the foot of tubing) you shouldn't be either, in fact i'd be absolutely livid.

But hey whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night. Hell if I spent that kind of cash i'd tell myself it was the baddest thing ever, just to keep from killing the builder LOL.

Trent,

Having seen this incredible machine in person all I can say is "I want first ride" and I will bring my diapers too!!!

With all the performance records Ron has set with their Stryker and your car being the latest and greatest of their knowledge in the form of the newest Stryker - this is going to be one sick animal.

I still cant get over that center "barrel" intercooler - I love it! I will be sure to cover all the records you will be setting in full high def so just keep me informed of any racing schedules.

I also wouldn't let the competition who obviously has their pants already in a jumble such as "ROUGE" distract you. Anyone who does not even have a full name or contact information is obviously a scared little poser. Oh wait that's right - he is under an NDA because of the top secret work he is going to shock the world with!

quoted for future [******] kicking, and down right hilarity.

Full name or contact info? haha what do you want to know, just ask. btw the fact that you like that pony keg turned intercooler just shows your absolute lack of any understanding. Then again i'm sure it's brillitant running the "intercooler" (of course using the least efficient design possible) right between the two hottest parts of the car. Yeah, sheer genius there.

So I take it we'll see you in sept as well? You can get a highdef video of the look on Trents face when they announce he's 10mph behind. :buttkick:

Rogue what's the point???? Doesn't it go .....

If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.

People like you are just stuck up pricks . We could care less, if the car your building is the best. You come on here just to cut down and make negative comments . Your obviously to good for any of us . I could say something but I wont lower myself to your level . You must not be here to make friends. So why don't you go on some other board .

Did Rogue have to register here as a sex offender? He was booted from the Alley for stalking a 13 year old ******* my space. Hopefully there aren't many children at Silver State.

That is not correct---at all. Not in the least. He was banned for Viper Alley but that was NOT the reason.

That's one hell of an accusation. Rogue is here talking some smack to a builder and although I have talked to Jr. several times and have REPEATEDLY defended SVS, I have my doubts about this build too. But I'll reserve judgment until it runs.

Calling someone a sex offender and backing it with a lie like that is really screwed up.

Actually...I did the initial suspension, based solely on the image he posted. He is more than welcome to his opinion and I would never fault anyone for that.....but the image was plain wrong for this discussion, this Forum, and just in general. Why ANYONE would think THAT image is NOT offensive and degrading is beyond me. He is not needed here...he can move along.
