What is BG status on a new order?

I just found out tonight from my dealer that the 2008 Coupe I ordered, on the first day they were taking orders, is in BG status, in other words was not picked up for build yet.

Does anyone here know what that means? I was the second order for a 2008 at the dealer :dunno:

Bg= Bogus. Sorry no soup for you. Hey look at it this way now you get a chance to add ACR to the order. I know I will call my dealer in the AM!!!! :2tu:

BG: Order has passed edit but cannot be considered for scheduling. :omg:

You need to call that Dealer and they need to call their sales DM!

You probably ordered either the arc or graphite console, they are still delayed I THINK. Call the Wiz to find out for sure. Take that off the order and your car will probably move ahead.

Yep...the arc and graphite console options are holding up Vipers ordered with them. It gets worse if I am to believe the info received. The original outside supplier of these parts is not just behind schedule but it went bankrupt. Dodge is suposedly in the process of getting another vendor and certifying his product for production. The time frame for all of this to be completed was given to me as December. I was offered the opportunity to change my order if I did not want to wait. I decided to leave it the way it is, the Viper would be delivered in the winter no matter what.

There's no BA on the list but I see that when an order frist goes in then in changes within a day or so to BX: Good order available for scheduling
