hehehe that was a good joke there, gold chains that made me LOL.
Seriously Chad, Robert, Dave, Chuck and Phil better fess up. What's with this gold chain business? I'd leave the other four out but I bet it def has to do with Mopar Boy though, GOLD is the closest to YELLOW. Something besides that mysterious Gen V obviously happened at VOI the rest of us don't know about!

Vette guy, what a ******. "Got rid of my gold chains when I got rid of the Viper." Really? How many AARP members have I seen standing by the door of a Vette with their gray chest hair pushing their golden twisty rope chains out of their shirts. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

I recorded an episode for the "Forum Wars" last year.
Ran my 09 ACR against an 09 ZR1.
They never showed it. Guess who won?

I was told it was being made for Speed TV but they wanted too much control in the production of the program, so you might see the Teaser on TV (not sure when), but the shows will be available online, as it is a Royal Purple advertisment spot.

haha i know these guys the indian guy is S.W. from elite motorsports in Austin texas and the white guy is Lawence Willis and is a member of my track "harris hill road".
Lawence has the track record in his ACR for a "non- professional" driver and S.W..... well he's S.W.!!! LOL

Congrats CarDude! I found it interesting that the Vette guy kept blaming the car (clutch slipping... didn't have a good feel, etc.). Well, its still a Chevy--get a better car!!!

Thanks everyone. The funniest part of the "show" is the fact they asked us to really talk crap...so we did. SW seemed pretty nice...and most importantly it was a lot of fun. I was expecting it to be a PITA, but again I had fun. Last season the Viper vs Vette was an ACR on Hoosiers versus the owner of Meguiars on street tires. This season, I had to compete on regular PS2s (which we know is less than stock) so it was a little difficult to hook but the Viper is an awesome car inspite of tire choices!
Don't go on the ZR1 CORVETTE Forum and say that.....I got a threatening comment from one of the forum supervisers, and every Vette owner on it also. They are ALL in DENIAL!!!!!(of course it is a Vette forum but those Vette owners get paranoid and freak out when they even hear the word VIPER) It all started with me when one guy on that forum stated that the ZR1 is the best bang for he buck and I told them they seem to have forgotten about the VIPER......They went crazy....

I currently have a ZR1...and it is no match for the Viper ACR on the road course. I have personally proven it, as when I have driven them both...I drive to set times. The ACR is the clear leader...tire for tire. After returning from this Forum Wars, I drove the ACR on PS2 and went faster (and dare I say more comfortably), at my local road course, than the times I set in the ZR1. I love the ACR, it gets more attention from car people, and it just looks the part. The ZR1 is very fast, but frankly its boring.

Funny you mention that...when he said that I about died laughing. Back in 2006 I was thinking about a Z06 as a daily driver and my wife told me she didn't want to see me in a bunch of gold chains with my chest hair all hanging out.
Well I am off to the Texas Viper Roundup at ART in a bit. Have fun with the video everyone. Even if it is making fun of me (all tattooed, bald, and affliction shirt wearing)! I can take it...
...out on everyone at the track, that is, on Sunday. I'll be driving my 11 Ford GT500, at the Road Racing event (I need to make it fair). I say if your going to talk crap, you should be good at it...even if you can't back it up.
