Wanted to say hello to everyone, I've been a lurker on here and the alley for some time now, and finally got full membership.

I recently retired from the Army and looking forward to some stability and relax time before I transition into a civilian career, the Army was great, just ready for a change now. I've had my ride for about 3 years and have enjoyed everyday of it, either driving it or spending some time in the garage detailing it for hours on end.

My ride is an 05 SRT-10, Race Yellow, low miles, about 4800 when purchased, all stock and super clean. About a year of driving it and checking out the boards for feedback on exhaust systems, I called up Jon and had a Belanger system sent out with K&N CAI. I couldnt believe how well the car responded, and the sound was on point (definately not for the faint of heart).

I was happy for a while and now wanted to do something with the ride, I replaced the runflats with some NITTO Invo's, definately a nice improvement, traction is 100% better. I waned to do the suspension right the first time, so I bit the bullet on a set of KW V2's.....Jon gave me a killer deal.

The KW's have not been installed yet, I want to lower the ride height so I know that I'll need an alignment.

My question is what can I expect to spend on an install for the KW's with alignment?? I'm located in San Antonio, Texas. I would also like to get the car dyno tuned, whats a good price with controller for a dyno tune, and I would appreciate it if anyone can recommend a shop in my area, I spoke to the guys at "Lethal Performance" about doing the dyno tune.

Any feedback would be great.

thanks!!:headbang::headbang:

Welcome, and thank you sir, for your service to our country.

Sounds like you have a nice car there. Of course, you are required to post pics...let's see her! I bought my car lowered, and while it looks cool, I probably wouldn't do it myself. My front fascia is scraped up from bottoming on some of our roads around here. Be careful, and have fun.

Very nice looking Snake. :2tu:

ART in Buda unfortunately is now closed to the Viper public. They are concentrating totally on racing.

First welcome to the National VCA. Now I'd like to welcome you to the South Central Texas VCA. You can find us as a sub-forum here: http://forums.viperclub.org/forums/224-Texas-South-Central.

We have a Coffee and Rides get together coming up this Saturday morning. It is the last Saturday of each month, unless we have something different planned as a club. The Vipers from all around the general area, weather permitting, try to meet here to socialize and give other car collectors participating, the opportunity to see our Snakes. The Prez and Vice-Prez usually are both present. I strongly urge you to consider coming out this Saturday, as most of the questions you have, including where to Dyno your Snake and where to have quality work done on it, can be answered by the attendees. They will be only too happy to help you out.
Also, we want to see your ride.

The event is from 08:00 to 10:30. It doesn't hurt to come a little early, to insure a good parking spot. Location is the Forum (Target and Panera Bread) at Bandera and 1604. Easy to get to.
Hope to see you there. All the best.

Welcome to the club! I did not see a region listed in your handle, are you signed up in the South Central Texas region? I have a very large email list to update all our members of upcoming events. The summer brings a lot of car shows and morning/evening drives due to the heat. Mike is right Coffee and Rides is a great place to meet a lot of people and hear the good and bad about vendors, shops, and anything Viper.

If you do not get an email from me please send me your info in a PM and I will get you added to the list. We can also make sure you are in the right region.

San Antonio does not have a HUGE Viper population but we have one of the most active populations. Our monthly events bring in on average 30-50% of our members. Not too many garage queens in this group!
