Thanks loads for posting this sale. YES they have 0w40 and I bought twenty 20 cases. I change oil frequently. My store even had a free BBQ outside going on!

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll have to check if my local store has any 15W-50 in stock. I had my cabinets full for a while, but with all the track days I've been doing, it's depleted rapidly. Just a side note, Walmart usually has it STUPID CHEAP in the 5 quart jugs ($25). The trick is just finding a local store that has it in stock.

Advanced Auto Parts in CT had the Mobil 1 (including 0W40) 5 single quarts or one large 5.1 quart container for $29.99 and included a Mobil 1 filter for free. They also had a better price on Penzoil but there was no 0W40 weight penzoil. Autozone runs a similar special but you have to pay additional to get a mobil1 filter.

I picked up 10 quarts and 2 of the normally $19.99 filters for my Saab as i use the viper specific filter on the viper.

The guy at the store said they run the promotion every quarter.

HEADS UP!!!!
I just went to O'reilly's and they had the 5.1 Quart Jugs of 0w-40 in the back for $27.45!!! It's a better deal because you get it for $5.38 a quart. :) Ask if they have some in the back, they never have it on the shelf. I have always heard about this elusive bigfoot jug of 0W-40, but have never actually seen it. Walmart does NOT list the jugs on their website and I have never seen my Walmart carry it. Some claim to have seen bigfoot at Walmart, but I never have. I cleaned out my O'Reilly's and bought a case of 4 jugs.

That's why they had FREE BBQ, they just sold $700+ on JUST OIL on JUST 1 SALE! If you go thru that much oil I'd hate to see how many tires you go thru! Lol!

So whats up with 0w40?. I have always run 15w50. I just buy it by the jug at Wally world like TowDawg suggested.

Unless you are tracking your Viper, 15w-50 is not the preferred oil for daily use. It won't hurt anything, but it can be a little thick in northern climates. You live in Texas so the hotter temps keep the oil thin. I track my RT/10 so I leave 15w-50 in it, but I noticed my lifters are much noisier the colder it is outside. Never did this with 10w-30 or 0w-40.

Adding my thanks as well...they didn't have any jugs of the 0w40, but the cases work just fine for me (picked up 2).
