Changed the rear main seal and gasket. Drove it back home and bone dry even the next day. Today two drops on the floor and sure enough looked underneath there's a couple of drips. Anyone else experience this, mines 96 GTS.

Did you have a shop did the real main seal for you?

-typical leaks are usually from timing cover gasket, valve cover gasket and or oil pan gasket.

Changed the oil pan gasket, it's not leaking from there. The rear main gasket was damaged and not seated properly it was obvious it was leaking from there and two of the bolts were not tight at all.

This was before or after the repair? As I replied on the other site, I still have my minor mystery as well. Annoying.
