Check the resistor for the blower motor. When I worked at the dealership this was common on some of the other vehicles. It is usually a quick fix, but I have not tried to change one on a Viper before.
Splochocki, you are right about the extra headroom in ours, I'm 6'4" and can actually fit underneath our top without a seat lowering kit. Let me know if you find a used one, I would recommend some new weatherstrips, and latches.
