    3.55 gears and HF Cat comments

    I also put HF Cats on my car along with a Borla Exhaust and the sound is that of a Viper...A BEAST! I put 3.73's on my car, I love my gears and really having no 1st gear is freakin' sweet! I suggest at least 3.55's but if you're a real man (kidding!) get 3.73's. Sean

    Yeah, I once owned a 98 C5 and my dad owns a 99 C5 with extras and 150 shot of NOS to at least keep up with me now :p . I will always love Vettes, but probably won't ever go back unless they drastically do something and beat out the Viper :D .

    No matter where you go, the Viper is the $*** peroid! Nothing eles compares to bringing the Viper out on a nice May cruise. Vettes, Stangs, SRT-10's ;) , nothing!

    The Viper attracts people of all ages, which is really cool. When I have mine out, people just can't believe what they're seeing! That's when you know you have something special, no other car out like it (probably, ever...).

    Wanting to purchase gears

    I have 3.73's on my 97 GTS and love them. I really like the short 1st gear, it really moves. With a Viper, you're always gonna have a problem hooking up anyway, you gotta just live w/ it. I've never taken it to the track yet, hopefully sometime soon. Any advice for a new track guy?
