Re: who is doing a winter project? here is mine.
Which pistons are you running in that with the s/c? I ask only because I want to do something similar to my 2001, but am concerned I won't get as much bang for the buck unless I also change out pistons for forged.
Schulmann - 100 octane was at a Sunoco station in the Denver Tech Center at Belleview and I-25. Not sure if you are familiar with the metro Denver area, so this location may or may not make sense.
I think I will stick with the 91 octane (I think due to high elevation our "91" is equivalent to...
My question though was about the laser jammers, which does not appear to be against the law
Granted the quote says there is no "Federal" law (I am not really sure about Colorado law). I know several of the routes I drive are hot spots for cops with laser radar guns. Just curious if anyone...
Who here has installed/used an active laser jammer? Looking at the Radarbuster website I was noticing their Blinder Laserjammer that looked quite nice. Seems like it would be a nice compliment to an Escort or Valentine, or whatever.
Thanks...Hey I am getting Shell super unleaded for $2.97 if I remember correctly (under $3.00 anyway). I hear oil slipped below $60 per barrel today...
Again...newbie question (sorry)...I noticed a station that sells 100 octane "race" gas locally. Do I understand correctly that this would be a waste for me since I don't have a turbo/supercharger on my Viper? So, I gain nothing, horsepower-wise by simply using a higher octane..correct? The...
Let me start by saying I am not a guy who has worked on cars in the past (sure I've changed oil, spark plugs, even did my brakes on an old car long ago)...but I would like to learn how to work on my Viper. I have looked at the illustrated install for the Corsa's on this website and, it doesn't...
Re: It\'s a yellow day in Denver
It probably is me...I work in the Tech Center and have been driving it to work as the weather permits. Nice to hear from you! Would like to get together sometime to get an education! Viper is new to me (bought over Labor Day).
It\'s a yellow day in Denver
Driving my yellow 01 RT-10 at lunch, an '05 yellow SRT pulls up behind me...a block away a yellow 01 RT-10 is parked at a tire shop...that has to be the largest non-event-related sighting for me yet. Glad to see all the guys with the "right" color :2tu:
Bought my 2001 RT-10 two weeks ago. The VIN according to the "VIN Information" section of the VCA website indicates it is a 2003. I am confused. VIN is 1B3ER65E91V700947. The tenth digit is a "1" which would indicate a 2003 car (unless I am misreading the VIN instructions). It was...
I just bought a 2001 RT-10 on Ebay (picked it up on Friday) for $44,900 with 21k miles. Absolutely fantastic! I liked the idea of getting ABS and actual windows...that was why I went with the 2001. I looked (and almost bought) a '95, but was scared away with head gasket issues. As for...
I am going to pick up my Viper tomorrow morning in Montana. I am in Colorado...so I have a lovely drive in front of me. I am concerned about reports that stations are starting to run out of certain grades of gas. If I can't find premium when I need it...is ONE tank of mid or regular unleaded...
Matthew...I understand there are variables. I am new to this (I know...that's obvious). Folks just can't seem to cut a new guy some slack. A few people talk about Jason, Jason...I don't know Jason. I have just heard the term Heffner Twin Turbo and have heard a lot of good things about it, so...
Gerald...trying to help? Exactly where is "If you've got to ask" being helpful?
Wow...friendly board. Thanks for the useful info. Thought I was asking a simple question and I get flamed. I can take whatever [******] you send my way. Bring it on.
I am buying a 2001 RT-10, I am assuming it has standard headlamps, did they switch over to HID at some point as a standard or do they remain standard headlamps today?
