I havent driven a viper yet, I would have to agree with the most of you that it would handle like most high performance car on a wet road. HAS ANYBODY CUT A HOLE IN THER HOOD?
Makara, that was a great link! As far as the hood heat is concerned and your medium rare left calf, as it was known amoung my Vette friends, how about install a high speed fan in the hood compartment which is controlled by a thermostat. Is Mobile One 15W50 OK in a Viper?
Air cooled engines have different oil specs than water cooled engines. On a Viper and Vette 10W30 or 10W40 is the best grade oil to use. You don't want the oil to be too think that it wouldn't go in-between the cylinders and pistons or other gaps that the oil need to go to lubricate. I am in...- picflight

Oil change on my 02 GTS
I agree with Scott on using ramps rather than jacks, safety first. But would ramps level the entire car? If it is not level there will be some old oil that will be hidden somewhere. Is it worth it to do the oil change yourself? I gave up doing the oil change and now have my dealer do it. Much...- picflight
