    Not true - just got confirmation for Aug 27-31 at the VOI rate. I did the reservation on-line and used special promotion VCB. King and double beds were avail. note: keep trying daily. people do cancel reservations, and rooms open up!

    Thanks - interesting info for you Ken: My car is one of the original Arizon Desert Racing cars built for the VRL waaaay back. It has the Ted Marsh/Coleman Racing hubs on it. Apparently, there were some spindle failures on this combo, but rare. All the cars Ted knew about came out of Phoenix...

    Is it mathematically possible for the Viper to win still? The wet skidpad (42nd place) pretty much doomed it, unless there were some significant mechanical DNF's coming up (and I know that is entirely possible in onelap)... I cant wait to see it run against the Nissan GTR at VIR this thursday...

    Wish they would call it the Winkler/Jones 2008 ACR. Having H's name on the entry makes me almost not want to root for the Dodge.
