Quarts of oil
When I drain my 03 overnight it takes 11 qts with oil filter. That is exactly what the 03 service manual says...11 qts.- SRT10

The real reason I prefer Viper over Vette
LOL, after using the HUD on my vette for a month I shut it off . It became an annoying glare on my windshield. You'll see, the HUD is a novelty that will wear off quickly.- SRT10

Nothing was announced in Vegas, domestic car companys are taking a hit and company bean counters have always wanted to scratch VOIs'. VOI IX may have been the last one. :eek:- SRT10

Maybe leaning towards a new coupe, questions???
Do it! I've had both and would never go back to a Gen 2. The Gen 3 is a much better Viper! Plus you can get some good deals now on Gen 3's. Those deals might disappear since the Gen 4 may cost over $100k+. :eek:- SRT10

Viper SRT convertibles to end in 06!
Heard rumour at VOI that... Viper to become coupe only for 08 and beyond! Last year for convertibles will be 2006! If you want a new convertible you better get it now!- SRT10

IMHO - NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS FOR SRT OWNERS
I'm sure "wifey" doesn't know that the SRT Viper was introduced a few years before the C6 Vette. It was Chevy who changed the appearance of the Vette to look more like a Viper. Imitation is the best form of flattery.. :2tu:- SRT10

Somehow "that" group went to the first SRT tech session and were whining thru the whole Q & A period. A great opportunity to ask some good questions to the SRT engrs went out the window. Thanks A**WIPES!- SRT10

Isn't that a little strange? You don't beat on it yet a tech says "it's about to go" without any explanation. I'm curious to see what your dealer will find. Maybe unitrax just wanted to sell you a whole new rear.- SRT10
