Change to K&N filters, sure. But smooth tube ?? Last dyno I saw was 1HP gain and a substantial loss of torque. I would like to see definitive results first with the only variable being the smooth tube. It's a no brainer to change the stock filters to K&Ns.

I agree with Jeff. This happened to me once, and I had to push down on the hood latch in the front of the car while someone pulled the hood release.

I have a 97 RT/10, Blue/white. 17,00 miles. Warranty still good. I haven't got around to selling it after I got my SRT-10, but I will offer it soon. If someone is interested, email me. I haven't thought about a price yet. Suggestions ?

I was disappointed that they rated the truck the same as the Viper: 500HP. They should have detuned it a bit, say 475HP or better yet a 450HP V8 Hemi. The Viper engine in a truck devalues the Viper and adds fuel to the knuckleheads who always claimed that the Viper had a truck engine. Good idea...

I have the Borla exhaust on my SRT-10. Sounds great!! Loud but not offensive. Good WOT hum. Gotta keep a low throttle around the neighbors, though. Chrome exhaust tips are nice as well.
