    1998 GT2 Value

Bet they are still there, this seems high. Over the years when they have moved through the classifieds, they usually where low 90's. If there are a half dozen openly for sale, that'a a lot more for sale than I've seen in quite a while. But reality is the current value is what the last person...

    1998 GT2 Value

Dang.... I have a stack of these somewhere :) If I sell ten of them, I can buy the trim for my project Viper :) If the original engine was rebuilt under warranty, not that big a deal... if it was replaced with a non-VIN matching engine.... big hit on value. VIN matching matters a bunch...

RT/10 FasRack - GTS Style Gas Cap anyone??

Re: Re pic of RT/10 w/ the \"wart\" The EBay one looks similar, but is not the same. The Fasrack one was machined to fit. This cap is similar to the ones used on Cobras, but they were centered in front of the trunk lid, a better placement from a "looks" perspective, on Mustangs they are on...

    Don't be me...

Re: Don\'t be me... Glad to hear you are OK, it sounds like you are being plenty hard on yourself, introspection can be a good thing..... many are not so lucky as you have been, a clear indication that you need another Viper. I'm with Lee on this one, you can still own your dream and upgrade...

What do you do when u lose your DAD before Christmas

Lost my dad a few years ago to Lung Cancer. He deteriorated over a period of about a year. His first operation was the week of the Indy VOI, the cancer stayed away until Jan 2003, Chemo took most of Jan-June '03 away from him, June - Oct he lived a psuedo normal life, then Nov things started...

Ok, This will start a fight!

When a batch of Vipers pull up to a filling station together... people tend to group around the ones that are blue with white stripes (96-97 GTS, 97 RT/10, or 06 SRT-10). Not sure if blue/white is to poeple like a street light is to a moth or what, but that's what I've seen for many years...

    Paint remover question

Re: Pait remover question should have said, "Primer filler", not just "primer" :o This is what was used on My Car: Pimer Filler: URO 1140S-1 Sealer: 42440S Color: 7175S Clear: 72500S Plus some adhesion promoter, reducers, activators, thinners, etc., etc, etc..... I'm sitting...

    Paint remover question

Re: Pait remover question There are now many different blasting medias designed for stripping paint from fiberglass, SMC, etc. If you contact a reputable blaster, they'll recommend the proper media.... they use everything from ice (CO2), and soda, to plastic, walnut shells (really), to glass...

I HATE Fraudulent CRAP like this

Got this one today, asks you to "Get Verified" if you did not buy the item... guess what, surprize, surprize, the "get verified link" does not go to pay-pal... just to an IP adress running a PHP program, no telling how many people would click on something like that, and get their identity...

    Paint is finally going on......

Re: Fuel Filler Lid Ed dropped me note about the wheels after reading the thread... if you look further up on the thread, he has used similar knock off's on his Double Venom (Viper powered Cobra). The one in the above picture had 600+ HP, and he drag raced it with slicks that were screwed to...

    Paint is finally going on......

Re: Fuel Filler Lid Yep, I bought this one from Ford years before Mopar did that for the Ram's. SRT not even SRT back then..... :D I measured every one I saw on a car until I found one close to the size of the Viper's. Tried to talk George at MGW into making one, but since it would...

    Paint is finally going on......

Re: Fuel Filler Lid 1. Maybe... 2. Nope..... but that has not stopped me so far with the rest of the car ;) I just think they'd be cool on a Viper with it being such a throw-back roadster anyway. Like I said, they're my "dream wheels" :)

    Paint is finally going on......

Fuel Filler Lid One more picture, just in... of the fuel filler lid installed. This was so much work for both Ed and I it is hard to describe. It stated out as a "Bullet Mustang" fuel filler lid. To make it fit the hole in the Viper fender I had to get it's OD machined down in diameter, it...

    Paint is finally going on......

Re: Rear of the Brazen Serpent nearing completion. For right now I have CCW/Purner 17" rims. At some point in the future, when the tires go bald :) , I'll likely move to 18" rims. The Copperhead rims are certianly and good looking option..... they looked great on the orange raffle Viper...

I HATE Fraudulent CRAP like this

The intersting part is to look for the auction that was "stolen"..... often a recent auction. If you do a search on completed auctions, you can often find the "original" auction for all these "to good to be true" auctions. The stolen identity thing is probably from the "phishing" Ebay emails...

    Paint is finally going on......

Re: Rear of the Brazen Serpent nearing completion. Thanks, will do. We got lucky on the stripe width, by pure chance it was just wide enough to land outside of the license plate area. I can hardly wait to get some pictures of it in natural light. None of these pics show the Brazen Orange...

    Big anniversary ...HUGE

Right on.... If I remember correctly, they got completely "aligned" beginning the 2003 model year... but, this year, with the coupe, 2006's were made a little later in the year.

    Paint is finally going on......

Rear of the Brazen Serpent nearing completion. It has been a while since an update, a few interior glitches, and the arrival of Winter in Michigan required Ed to take some time to finish insulating his shop..... Well the insulation is up, and the paint is once again going on. Ed took the...

    VCA "Last Ram SRT-10" Raffle

Re: VCA \"Last Ram SRT-10\" Raffle Is it a potentially profitable raffle? Yes. The VCA may very well be the one holding the next VOI, that would take significant capital to do right.... why not be prepared? Personally, I think this is an interesting raffle. Why a four-door? Maybe so the...
