Im sure the ZR1 is fast, and maybe it is a bit faster than a viper but I would have to see it to believe it. I cant seem to get anyone to race me around here, probably because there are no zr1s. Most everything I have seen indicates the vette is faster but i want to see it.
I have still yet...
I agree with you Lee.
I also wonder how can he know if he likes the car when he hasnt even driven it. I wonder how much the value of the car is going to be affected by a couple hundred miles? Put a temporary plate on it and lets go for a cruise, heck you might even like it. I cant think of a...
I have two coupes and they are very nice but there is nothing like having a fast vert, nothing. Maybe it is because it is twin turbo but I vote to get a hard top.
The only trade that would be remotely worth it would be a genIV. Dont go gen3 coupe =complete waste!
Love the giradelli mix, I will have to try the rolls. I hate it if you really like something then they cancel the item completely and never carry it again.:(
You can actually get two sets of soft bagged golf clubs in there if you position them just right.
Every item in my car was $16 or less...
Here is the open book on my pig fat viper...I dont mind it being fat because it is safe and I cant hook anymore power anyway. 15PSi of boost at 130mph still spins the tires. I cant hit that boost until 140+. Why would I need more?? I know that this car is capable of 1350rwhp @19-20lbs and a...
The rpms do not pick up well on my car or the supra. Therefore, no rpm or torque readings. You will notice that not very many high powered cars have torque readings.
Thanks for all the kudos!
I make about 950 at 13 psi with lower timing than what you just saw on the dyno. GT40R turbos(67mm).
Here is bottlefeds car on the dyno, it was very heat soaked and the temp's were in the mid 90's. I think he had to pull timing so it is certainly not his highest dyno number but his car sounded great and hit hard.
I had the opportunity to participate in a dyno shootout. Unfortunately I didnt win but it was something else to see the Silver Supra make almost 1500rwhp. Here is a dyno of mine and a dyno sheet comparing my dyno pull to the mammoth supra dyno pull. Enjoy.
Special thanks goes to the heffner...
I wouldnt tow the viper on a single axle trailer! It is probably past the GVW rating, more than likely the axle is 3500lbs or less. I bet that trailer would "whip" badly with the viper on there. You are better off renting a dual axle trailer from uhaul or somewhere like that.
Is it on a dynojet with SAE correction? If so those are some really strong numbers. Congrats.
Sometimes they give you the dyno numbers that are uncorrected which this time of the year can be higher then during the summer.
My car made a best 540rwhp and 510rwtq SAE corrected.
May I make a suggestion, when you send the injectors off to get checked out, put the old injectors in and see if it still misfires. Let me know if you need some help tuning. I used to be pretty good at tuning with vec's. I am good at ringing out every last bit of power available versus...
I am sorry to sound like a broken record. Please put the larger pulley on and turn off W/M. Your misfires could be caused by your w/m. Once you can get the tune close with the new injectors and blower you will easily be able to add the w/m and smaller pulley. If you are spraying too much w/m vs...
Dont mess around with detonation! I would take that 10lb off until you get that thing tuned in. I wouldnt risk running high boost without a proper tune. Put the 5lb pulley on and get everything dialed in and then go to the smaller pulleys. Once you get the tune with the 5lb pulley, the tune with...
First, get the dyno. See where the numbers are at. Second, have someone who knows what they are doing check the suspension/counter weighting/alignment. This can have a great affect on your ability to hook off the line.
As a side note, I dont think it is possible to get less than a 1.9 60'...
THe sacramento event was okay but there was a thick fog there most of the day which made the track less than ideal. ANyway, i was able to run a 11.16 at 129 mph in my stock gen4. I was hoping for a sea level density altitude but it ended up being around 660ft. The track prep is nothing like it...
Congrats! Those are some good times. I was going to go but they changed it from the 16th and I ended up going to Sacramento. Those are some nice trap speeds and good times given your 60's: If you get those 60' times down you will easily be in the 10s.
