There were only 2 options available for my '93 and I went for both: 1) color=Black and 2) Air Conditioning - dealer installed. I got the toupee, side curtains, and tonneau cover as standard equipment. The the first 2 gens, there were never any floor mats as standard equipment.
We have West Coast Dan Cragin, and East Coast Dan Lesser. Both are top tier and provide valuable services to the Viper community. Cragin has been working on and tuning street and race Vipers in an extremely tough emissions environment for over 30 years.
Where EXACTLY was the leak? Is the plastic line melted (mine is - partially), kinked, or broken? Has it just been pulled out of the rubber elbow at one end, or the other? They probably have several rolls of PCV hose of various diameters in bulk in the parts department. It isn't like every single...
Bill, it looks like the assembly they sent was the one between the throttle bodies. Is the leaking hose under the headlight - and what year is your car? The hoses changed slightly for '98-'99.
I recently had tank pressure buildup in my '96. I found that my purge valve was plugged with grains of...
My regional prez helped me swap transmissions in my garage on Saturday. He's a gearhead too. We talked about the situation and National is desperately trying to leverage forum activity to 'enhance the Member experience' and offset costs. They are really working hard at making and keeping the...
I would reccommend you buy and install some new inner tie rods. Same part number all around. Depending on what your ride heights are, you may need to bump-steer the car and bring those curves into spec. Unless you own, or have access to the caster inclinometers, I can almost GUARANTEE that your...
It needs to be tight enough that a second wrench on it is not needed when R&R'ing the actual pressure hose to the pump. That's a pretty large thread diameter in steel, so I'd expect something around 40-45 lb-ft.
When I rebuilt my Gen 2 pump several months ago, I was prepared to clean the...
I was able to log in, but could not see my P Ms. My thread Subscriptions are back, so that makes me somewhat less perturbed about the whole situtation.
The hard lines are well supported and are rarely the source of failure unless there is crash damage. Assuming no damage of the condenser, the #1 cause is termination o-rings, #2 are the hoses themselves. You can source refrigerant hoses and new hardline adapters from Vintage Air in San Antonio...
My 96 GTS gets a little over 20mpg on long Interstate drives averaging around 75mph. I tend to run a bit more aggressive alignment than stock on the road so that creates a little more friction. In mixed/mostly town driving I'm between 9 and 12. At a big road course track with stock ECU and...
