Exhaust Upgrade Help (which one do I get)

How do you quite down a 3 inch exhaust?
ive got the B&B headers/Roe Oval Cats/B&B cat-back going on my 97 this week. i cant wait to hear this set up! right now its entirely too quiet. then again, i hope its not TOO LOUD. we'll see what happens:)- pjb

Difference between driving Gen I vs. Gen II
i just recently made the switch from Gen I to II. I loved my Gen I, but I am absolutely amazed by how much easier it was to drive my GTS. I just picked up the GTS, so i only have limited experience with the car, but im still in shock :) I could carry on a conversation in the car, hear my CD...- pjb

Should I lower my car or not?
a -> DO IT!! i remember talking to you about this issue a while back concerning lowering my gen I. ended up getting the eibachs and love it. wait till you see the car now with the springs...very aggressive looking, rides somewhat close to stock (albeit noticeably stiffer), but not "slammed"...- pjb

Help - my stick is too long!
i just changed the knob at first (from stock to the MGW First Strike) and liked the improved feel. got the B&M Ripper installed a month ago, and in combination with the MGW knob, its absolutely fantastic. throws are very precise, smooth, and short. i just wish I had done it sooner. if you're...- pjb

Gen 1 Lowered Suspension Alignment Specs?
i just had my 93 fitted with eibachs and new pilots. after researching on this site, emailing some folks, and talking to the tech, i went with the 95 alignment specs. i didnt need an aggressive set up either, so it seemed to be the consensus. ck your email. pjb- pjb

Like everyone has stated, the headgasket issue IS a concern for all GEN I cars. Granted some may fair better than others, but if he told you the 92/93s did not have these issues, he's not telling you the truth. Headgaskets & Extended Warranties
the headgaskets on my 93 were changed over to the newer ones a few months ago. all the work was done under warranty ruckdr posted some great pics, and i have my old gaskets as well. i was surprised to see how deteriorated they were. almost like a dog chewed on them! not sure about the cutoff...- pjb

Alarm Question
mine has been doing the same thing. i had a place disconnect my aftermarket alarm (bad module), and i plan on having a new alpine alarm in soon. now with just the useless stock alarm (keyless entry thing), my ALARM SET dash light goes on every so often -- over rough roads, or just taching it...- pjb

Suggestion on 1st Viper
I have AC in my early 93 (#213) and Im so glad I do Id say make sure you have one with it already on the car. Other than that, the headgasket issue is the other thing to look for. My headgaskets were replaced under warranty, so im glad that was taken care of, and i now have the newer style...- pjb

no cats vs. stock cats vs. high flow cats for my application?
bigr1 -> ive got the belanger cat-back w/stock cats on my 93 and its LOUD. Although LOUD is a subjective issue, if you will be driving it a lot and you are concerned about noise, then Id go with either the stock cats or the high-flows. I couldnt even imagine driving my car w/o cats. After...- pjb
