Driving my son to school this morning (50 mph in 4th), I noticed that my oil pressure was just below 80 psi (in the 70-75 psi range). While the ambient temperature was 34 degrees, I had driven 10-15 miles and the engine had reached operating temperature. When stopped at a traffic light, I...
I raised this question several weeks ago and the short answer is that the 7/70 powertrain warranty on SRT 10's built prior to October, 2003, covered the vehicle itself irrespective of how many owners it had.
The 7/70 warranties on SRT 10's built subsequent to October, 2003, applied to the...
I checked with my local Dodge Dealership this morning and here's what I learned:
SRT 10's built prior to October, 2003, have the 7/70 warranty on the car itself, irrespective of how many owners it's had.
SRT 10's built subsequent to October, 2003, have the 7/70 warranty applicable to the...
Does DC's 7/70 powertrain warranty have any limits in terms of number of owners (I'm the third)? Is there a deductible?
My basic 3/36 will expire in March, 2006, and I'm trying to make an informed decision regarding an extended warranty.
Thanks in advance............

Ben....
Steve is exactly correct. It happened to me and it's a simple fix. The loop will occasionally come off. I think it happens when you're cleaning the engine compartment.
Don
Paul,
I don't guess you'd consider allowing your girlfriend to travel to Alabama....
Honestly, I thought there was some trick or easy solution, but I guess there isn't.
Thanks to all.....

Midget is politically incorrect............The appropriate description is "vertically challenged".
While I truly appreciate the humor, is there an answer?
I'm 5'11" and I can't get into the space behind the seats to clean or vacuum.

I noticed today that the inside of my rear window needs cleaning. Moreover, the carpeted well that holds the top also has some debris in it and should be vacuumed. Is there a secret to accomplishing both or am I missing something obvious to others, but obscure to me???????
BTW, I used Raggtop...
Today, I took a business trip which covered 182 miles, about 90% of which were on the interstate at 80 MPH. When I gassed up, it took 8.7 gallons to top it off. Don't waste your time with a calculator, I'll tell you it's about 21 miles/gallon. First question...............Why was my Viper...
It's been years since I've owned a convertible and, as best as I can recall, the old top was made of some synthetic material (like nylon). My '03's top is clearly a different material and I'd like to know if there's a treatment which will maintain the color, protect the material, and enhance...
PaViper,
I recently purchased an '03 which has a Corsa exhaust, according to the previous owner.
I was looking at your picture and the outlet appears elliptical, while mine appear round. Is it simply an illusion or is the opening truly not completely round.
The edges are rolled like yours...
By mistake, I ordered 2 ski shift eliminators. I've installed one, but that still leaves me with another.
If anyone is interested, I'll be happy to mail it to you.

I\'m not a rocket scientist...................
I'd been looking for a Gen III for many months and recently decided to buy from a dealer who took my Gen I in trade. The deal was satisfactory to both of us and I had no complaints.
Prior to this I had been looking on Ebay and the VCA...
High Flow Cats on an \'03????
I had high flow cats on my '94, but the oxygen sensors were in front of the cat, so I never had to worry about a check engine light coming on.
I'm thinking about the same mod for my '03, but I'm not sure if I'll need O2 simulators. Has anyone had high flow cats...
We met with Ben and his wife earlier today and I gave him the original parts which I had updated plus a service manual. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to locate the OEM cats. Since Georgia has an emissions law, he was concerned that the car may not pass with Roe high flow cats.
My gut feeling...
Re: Crankcase capacity in an \'03?????
Well Damn.....................
In my manual, on page 170, it states that the crankcase (and filter) will hold 10 quarts. Did DC revise the crankcase capacity at some period during 2003?????? Or, do they just want to keep us guessing????
I think I'm...
Re: Crankcase capacity in an \'03?????
Ron,
This morning, I checked after the car had been sitting for 8-10 hours. The dipstick showed about a quart low, so I added a quart and brought it up to full. Could my dipstick be too long? Ever heard of that??
Thanks for the info.............

Questions from a new \'03 owner...................
Just traded my '94 for an '03. The improvements in creature comforts are very evident............windows, door handles, water tight, etc.
Sadly, I noticed acid rain stains when I got the car in my garage under florescent lights.
I've never...
