Just wanted to throw out my opinion on the Nitto Invo. I originally had stock runflats. Then I went with +1 wheel combo with the Bridgestone PS2 tires (non-runflat). Great grip compared to runflats, and I liked them well enough. Really no complaints.
I decided to try the Nittos because...
85,
I love my HID fogs! But, i also have the same issue with the ABS sensor, and I need to move the driver's side ballast. That's easy - but I need to know where to get another of the adhesive pads you sent with the kit. Do they have a product name or number? I can't locate them on the 3M...
Here's my Forgeline pics
Here's my pics. Rims took about 8 weeks. I love the look of the INVO, but I cannot comment on the performance aspect yet.
Weights:
front: 19x10 in full chrome with the Nittos - 56.75 # (stock 18" with run flats was 58#)
rear: 20x12.5 in full chrome with Nittos -...
I ordered mine from Jon B a day or two after Christmas. They arrived today - so 7-8 weeks from forgeline. I went with the Nittos - they are being mounted tomorrow. Hope to have them on the car this weekend and I'll get some pics going.
I almost did gunmetal, but decided it was too much...
Here's my $.02: CHROME! Polished looks excellent when new, but is much harder to maintain that new look finish. After a year or so, polished looks somewhat dull compared to chrome. I just bought new rims because I hated my iForged - partly because they were polished, not chrome. That's a...
Strange...
I just went to install my HID fogs, and the panel inside each wheel well that gives access to the fog lights is missing - on both sides! The inside of each of these compartments seems unusually clean, so I don't think they have been missing long. Not sure where they went though...
In many cases, you get what you pay for. Of course, some are simply overpriced. Your best bet for a great looking set under $5k is to buy a used set in good condition from someone who is looking to make a change. I just sold my used iforged rims for cheap - although I wasn't pleased with...
Awesome pics in the fog! Nice job.
We don't get much fog in AZ, but I hate the yellow fogs as well - too much of a contrast from the gorgeous HID low beams - so I don't use them. HID set now on order though!
I did 19x10 in front and 20x12.5 for the rear.
I have Michelins now and think they are OK. After considering the only two other choices (pirelli & Nitto), I am going with the Nitto Invo 285/30 19 and 345/25 20. Not much reported on them, but I am willing to try them out.
I have the P zero...
I have a set of Forgeline SO3P currently on order. Jon B suggested they may be ready in a week. I'm doing 19"/20" in chrome. I love the gunmetal centers, but I decided it was too much clash on a B/W coupe.
I also thought long and hard about the ZX3P in chrome, but came to the same...
Thanks all of you! I think the combination of a reasonably cool temp (about 60) at midday with the sun warming the track was a key. Cool enough to help maintain peak power, yet warm enough to still get some grip on the track.
Most of the street drags in AZ are night time, and there is far...
Got a chance to do some daytime drag racing at Speedworld in AZ today. My previous best time was 12.01 seconds.
Temp was about 60 degrees and sunny, very little wind. My first pass of the day was 11.85 at 122 mph. Yeah!
2nd pass 11.63 and got better from there. I only had 1 pass over...
I can say that I have had the exact opposite experience with Vince on 2 sets of wheels... My experience is that over time, quality is seriously lacking in iForged. But hey! Who am I to rain on anyone's parade? Those rims look awesome on that car! :)
You can do what I did.
1. Get divorced
2. Buy Viper
3. Get a girlfriend and *christen* the Viper a bunch of times
4. Get remarried
5. Buy new Viper (now it's an upgrade!)
I COMPLETELY AGREE! IForged has terrible customer service and a crummy product. I posted a similar thread in the wheels/tires section several months ago. Here's a link to what I went through:

Also, anyone else chime in on whether you think the gunmetal rim with chrome lip will look like on a B/W coupe. I currently have all chrome rims which look great - but I really like these forgelines. Wondering whether it will look too "busy" since the rim color won't match car or stripe...
I'm considering some rims on my Blue/white FE coupe. Considering the relative rarity, I am having trouble finding any pics of the FE with custom rims. Can any of you with photoshop expertise create a mock up of a B/W coupe with these forgeline rims?
Thanks in advance!!
This sounds like the viper equivalent of a mullet. Yech. Maybe you should post a pic, because the visual I have in my head of a blue vinyl car bra, with or without stripes, is not attractive...
