Each spring when I wash the car for the first time (not Viper) I have a lot of yellow dots on the paint. It looks like it was splashed onto the car from the wheels. Bug and tar remover doesn't do a thing to it. Tried clay bar and it won't work. The only way to get it off is to use polishing...
It doesn't necessarily mean that they've been working on it. Since they were not going to build it after the '09MY due to pending new crash standards I'm sure all development was either slowed or stopped.
Yup, it's the exact same stuff. I got mine at JoAnn's.
With 6.5" subs it's not going to make that much of a difference. The cone surface area is not big enough to move much air. If you get an 8" or bigger sub it would make more of an impact.
The 6.5" JL sub will give you more bass than the stock full range speakers. But don't expect low frequencies down to 20hz if you're looking for that true "sub" woofer effect.
That's one of the necessary evils that a financially strapped company has to deal with. It's a case of the benefits outweigh the costs. They were way over saturated and now have no choice but to cut back and reduce. If you compare the number of Toyota dealerships to domestic it's a fraction...
Looks nice. Does it block the vent? I had my amps on there before too. Until I left it out in the sun for 20 mins. It got so hot the amps shut down and wouldn't power up.

Why would they want the building? I sure wouldn't want an old decrepit building if I bought the brand and the tooling. But then again I don't have $10M to blow...

It looks like the sum of the parts are worth more than the whole. This is where Gordon Gekko comes in and buys the place then parts it out.
