Just took a 16 year old to her 16 coming out party for a good friend. Thats what the cars are for to have fun!! Not quite a bucket list item but the 16 year old was thrilled.
It doesn't have to be a Viper I just want to spend a season in a good car. My son and I finished 7&8th in NMRA drag radial a couple of years ago and had a blast but boy did I spend money keeping 2 cars going! I would like to be drop in race and leave and let someone else do the work.
The team I drove with has placed top ten and we were 5th last race when tranny let go. I just want to come into a prepared seat next year in another series and have fun with a really prepared car. Yes I am fortunate I make a good living.
I have raced a couple of years in the Lemons series and raced my Viper in some road racing courses. Any suggestions on renting a seat in for the 2013 season in the midwest to east coast series?
I will also add what a great event and very well run. Met great people had a good time and won a trophy also! Will be there next year. Look forward to meeting more people in Charlotte.
Have done it for years off and on and the smoother you are the faster you are. If it the first time with your viper be sure you are straight before you squeeze the gas pedal. You should during the weekend try and find the limit where it swaps ends on you so you know what it feels like.
I have had gen 1 and gen 2 and gen 2 is much more ''civil''. Easy to have a conversation in #2 not so easy in #1. #1 is much ruder and cruder but what a feeling when you drive it. Sold #1 because wife did not enjoy as much as I did and the phrase ''if momma ain't happy then no one is happy'' applys.
Two at present but Gen 1 will be on the market shortly, wife really didn't like. She really likes Gen 2 GTS though. If momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy!
